The Noguera Pallaresa is one of the most beautiful rivers in the spanish part of the Pyrenees ,as well as it is one of the most powerfull volume rivers of Spain .In the period that we are staying here,the tributary’s come from the Parque Nacional D’Aigues Tortes and adds a lot of water to the Noguera ,so we can describe it as a volume-river.
In that way as well ,we are less dependant of the willingness of the lock-keepers of the St,Maurici-reservoir.
